History and Headquarters
National Records Centers Inc. was formed in 1999
and chartered as a Delaware corporation by a group of independent records center entrepreneurs who envisioned the need for an organization which could compete in the national
and global markets, while delivering the kind of service that they,
as local vendors, provided within their own local markets.
NRC headquarters is located in the nation's premier high tech center for the development of data storage technologies,
renewable energy technologies, records management solutions and data communications providers.
Nestled in the foothills of Boulder County, adjacent to the University of Colorado, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA),
the National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL) and numerous high-tech companies such as;
IBM, Hewlett Packard, SUN Microsystems, Level 3, and Conoco Philips, all combine to nurture the technical competencies that help define the NRC.
